Recommendation Monday #11

I am a huge fan of Theodore Roosevelt. He was one of my first heroes, and probably the main person who inspired me to try to overcome my asthma when I was a child. There is a lot to admire about him. But it may just be that his son was an even better and inspiring person. Read about him here. You will be glad you did.

  1. I was impressed by Theodore Roosevelt’s adventure through the Amazon rainforest by canoe! He nearly died from his Amazon River tributaries adventure and he showed his resiliency even in the face of a lifetime of adversity.

I also think about Theodore Roosevelt and when he lost his entire herd of cattle during one of the worst Winters on record, he never stopped moving forward, he reinvented himself as an author and later as a political leader and the world has seen few leaders like him since!
